Personalised prospectus completes the brand message for University of Bedfordshire
The University of Bedfordshire has just completed it’s first personalised prospectus programme with Aura. The project has provided the final piece in a brand building programme started in 2011. Aura developed a brand proposition: &you, which features campaign style, prominently on all student recruitment media.
“It’s a strong campaign that purposely places the student’s personal ambitions and aspirations to the fore” says Steph Spowart, Account Director at Aura, “the personalised prospectus is the defining communication though, with an attractive, intuitive interface that really does place the student’s choices and requirements first.”
Sarah Foster, undergraduate recruitment manager at the University concurs. “There has been a clamour to create personalised prospectuses in the sector with mixed results – originally too expensive, then the uncertainty over the environmental impact etc… but these things are now all addressed with this package and the student is embraced by our University as part of a seamless, student focused experience.”
The turn key solution provided by Aura using the XM Media system includes planning and creative as well as options for personalised flicker books and hard print copies delivered in three to four days.
Data analysis allows the University to trace preferences of students and adapt additional communications personally throughout the recruitment cycle. “A personalised prospectus is frequently expected by students, but we believe we have created something much more integrated with our brand promise.” Adds Sarah.
